Who Am I?

Tova Payne is a graduate of McGill’s Psychology Program, a Certified Life Skills Counselor and Certified Life Coach from Rhodes Wellness College. She is also a published author and has been featured in The Huffington Post, Mind Body Green, Elephant Journal, and many other online platforms.

In addition to her expertise in the emotional wellness area, Tova’s training/ skills include:

More about Tova:

Tova is a life learner.  Her studies include a combination of formal education and self-education. Throughout high school Tova found herself captivated by health, wellness and psychology books, and naturally immersed in Psychology in University. However, she always found that some things were missing in the western approach. Tova was drawn to authors such as Caroline Myss—a pioneer in energetic anatomy and spirituality, Wayne Dyer—bringing the spiritual into the world of psychology, and Louise Hay—bringing the power of affirmations into healing our body and mind.

Tova believes that complete integration of the body, mind, emotions and soul leads to the most whole and fulfilling life. As a senior yoga teacher who has led trainings and taught thousands of classes to a wide range of ages and abilities, she has seen powerful positive effects that somatic work may have on mental and emotional healing. Tova also believes that we all have intuition – a vital sense like all our other senses, and learning to reconnect with our “gut” is an important way to live a more harmonious and fulfilling life.

From a young age Tova found solace in nature. She likes to integrate ecotherapy – combining the healing qualities of nature with mindfulness and life coaching in her own personal practice and work with others. Using her extensive experience working with individuals and groups, Tova brings a dynamic, holistic, and integrative approach to her one-on-one sessions and group classes. Her greatest joy is guiding others to turn on the inner light switch in their lives and to take action on their dreams one step at a time.
